The Badminton for Ben Day was held and was a remarkable success, we had players present from 08:30 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening. The following report is fro the organisers "Andrew, Meryl, Dominique and Colin" "Dear Member Thanks to all the hard work and support of club members on the Badminton for Ben Day, we have raised the grand total of £4000. This reflects well on the good will of club members who worked so hard to obtain sponsors, made donations and gave freely their time throughout the day. Thanks are also due to members' partners, friends and the wider public who gave us terrific support. A presentation evening to which all will be invited, will be held in mid January. Cheques will be presented to Dorothy House and Macmillan Cancer Support and a donation will be sent to Salisbury Hospice. Details to follow. Many Thanks Andrew, Meryl, Dominique and Colin"

Many of you will be aware of the recent death of ex-paramedic Ben Nevers who was well known in the community.
Ben was a member of the Tuesday Badminton Club and we are holding a charity event on Saturday 15th September at Warminster Sports Centre from 08h 30 to 20h 00.
This will be a fun badminton event open to anyone in the community, either as individuals or as small groups.
Playing standard is of no importance. We want people to come along, enjoy themselves and help us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Dorothy House Hospice.
